Nina Senicar has risen to fame in Italy as a “velina” or “showgirl”, she became widely know after appearing on “Isola dei Famosi”, the Italian TV show that is a mix between “Survivor” and “Celebrity Love Island”. The serbian born beauty is constantly in the Italian tabloids due in part to constant speculation about her latest love interest but also because of her many TV appearances and of course her incredible physique! If only to get us beach ready for summer, Ms Senicar has launched a line of bikinis that are almost as hot as she is! For the event we picked some of our favourite pieces for Spring/Summer that have been influenced by nature. Jonathan Saunders, Erdem, Jil Sanders and Thomsen all created elegant prints inspired by flowers that are perfect for a sunny afternoon in the park. So, seize the day and take time out not only to appreciate your surroundings but also to raise awareness for a great cause.

She caught our eye, however, as we spotted her rocking a great dress by one of our new Italian labels, Space. The bright tangerine dress is in one of Spring’s key colours and is a simple way to reference the colour blocking trend. Teamed with a pair of nude shoes, Marcuzzi showed us how this playful trend can still be worn in a demure and elegant way.

We were really happy that we got to chat to the up and coming designer about what inspires her, her Spring/Summer collection and how she constructs those incredible, signature prints. Our womenswear buyer Silvano was also on hand to show Mary around our store as she put together a real show stopping look for our Style Essentials feature that’s coming soon….

Whilst our jewellery buyers were at Basel World, in Switzerland, they got some time to catch up with Stephen Webster. The legendary bristish jewellery designer held a little after hours get together at the show where he took our buyers through the new collection over a few aperitifs and cocktails. Working beautifully selected stones with precious metals and adding his signature glamorous, rock and roll edge we can’t wait to see what’s in store for next season!
