Updated versions of key style staples from the 1970s have flooded the catwalks for Fall/Winter so we decided to take the trend to our favourite record store, Marquee Moon, to help us get into the groove! Signature prints from Versace and Etro were used to accessorize vintage tailoring in leather and velvet to capture this season’s obsession with the rich colours and retro shapes that have inspired designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Burberry.   This look doesn’t have to take you back in time however, Zagliani used python print and funky details on i-pad cases to bring a touch of disco to modern accessories. Simply pair with a silk scarf or a fur stole if you want to give a nod to the trend but don’t feel brave enough to work it to the max just yet, although we whole heartedly encourage experimenting with this season’s super flattering flares that are also set to be big for Spring/Summer 2012.

We headed backstage at the massive ice rink that Etro chose as the venue for their Autumn/Winter 2011 show and spoke to Charlotte Tilbury, the famous make up artist, about the inspiration for the models make up that worked perfectly with the signature Etro bohemian print layers.
